Bratislava, Slovakia
After departing Budapest but before reaching Vienna, our bus route had us driving through the city of Bratislava. This unique route meant we were able to visit another country to spend a few hours for lunch and walk about in the afternoon hours before ending up in Vienna in the evening. The city of Bratislava is smaller compared to the other cities on our tour so it was nice to see something different for a change of pace. Walking through the town square and seeing the various shops and churches made the short stop there very worthwhile. It was also nice we had a few hours to relax and enjoy a lunch at one of the many outdoor cafes on a sunny day. It’s not everyday you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in different countries within the same day which is exactly what our tour group did with Hungary – Slovakia – Austria.
